About the Trip

We're taking 12 players to Lethbridge, Alberta to train, go up against Canadian teams, and spend 9 days doing full-time basketball in a country that takes the game seriously. The trip runs out of Coach Deng's family home. It's personal, not a package tour.

Coaching staff: Deng Awak (Talata Basketball), Jordan Naughton, and James Young, with more coaches to be announced. Players get direct access to every coach across every session.

Itinerary

Jun 27 (Sat)

Depart Copenhagen → Calgary (via connecting flight)

Jun 28 (Sun)

Land in Lethbridge. Get settled, get comfortable, team dinner together.

Jun 30 – Jul 2

Two-a-days. Mornings are structured training. Afternoons are skill clinics. Evenings off.

Jul 3 – 4

Game days. We play Canadian teams. Day trip to the Rocky Mountains and a possible stop at the Calgary Stampede.

Jul 5 (Sat)

Last game: the showcase. Awards and a farewell dinner to wrap it up.

Jul 6 (Sun)

Depart Lethbridge → Copenhagen. Arrive Jul 7.

What's Included

Travel

All ground transport in Canada. Airport pickups covered.

We coordinate a group flight from Copenhagen. Book with us and get the group rate. Estimated 5,000–6,000 kr per person. Email coach@talatabasketball.dk to join the group booking.

Accommodation

Players stay at Coach Deng's family home in Lethbridge. It's personal, not a hotel. Max 12 players total. Coaches on site around the clock.

Training

8+ training sessions with Talata coaches and Canadian university and college coaches. Exhibition games against Canadian teams. Film breakdown after games.

Meals & Activities

Every meal covered. Day trip to the Rocky Mountains. Possible stop at the Calgary Stampede. No campus stuff, just real experiences.

Kit

Every player gets a full Talata Canada Camp kit: training top, shorts, and shirt. Additional merch available to purchase. Bring extra training gear for the week.

Important Requirements

Every player needs a valid passport and a Canada eTA (quick online application). Travel insurance is required. No exceptions. We'll also need a signed consent form and medical info from each family before we fly.
