This summer we did something no other Danish youth club has done, as far as we know. We flew four of our academy players from Copenhagen to Lethbridge, Alberta and ran a full week of camp on Canadian soil.
June 29 to July 3. Catholic Central High School's West Campus gym. Our four traveling players trained side by side with local Lethbridge players every day. Two basketball cultures in one gym. Everybody left better.
The coaching lineup was special. Coach Deng, Coach James Young, and Coach Jordan Naughton came over from Copenhagen. Jordan played NCAA Division 1 at Wyoming before going pro in Denmark, and he ran the floor all week. Lethbridge's own Danhue Lawrence, University of Lethbridge Pronghorns alum and founder of Noble Kings, brought the local fire. Big thanks to Coach Philip Jaman, Coach John, and Coach Jim for stepping in and coaching alongside us all week.
The week itself? Built the Talata way. Small-sided games, real decisions, competition from minute one. No lines, no standing around. The Canadian kids picked it up fast. And our Danish boys found out quickly that basketball in Alberta comes at you physical and direct. That's exactly why we came.
What did our players take home? A week against new bodies, new styles, new speed. Friends in another time zone. And that thing you only get from getting through a hard week far from home. We call it Representative Integrity: you get better by playing real basketball against people who don't know your habits.

What's next? The passport stays busy. Nida Camp in Lithuania runs July 26 to August 2. DK Summer Camp takes over Copenhagen in Week 32, August 3 to 7, and there are still spots. Then the new season tips off Monday August 10.
