Basketball starts
here. And it's fun.

Talata Mini (ages 5 to 9) and Talata Junior (ages 10 to 12) train back to back in the same gym with the same coaches. The kids are moving the whole hour. If they are not having fun they will not come back, and we know it.

What is Talata Mini?

For 5 to 9 year olds who just want to play. Come once a week or twice, whatever suits your family. Small group, proper coaching, games built for how young they are.

The only thing that matters at this age is that your kid wants to come back next week. That's what we build toward.

Movement first

Your kid will be moving almost the whole hour. We do not run lines where nine kids stand and watch one.

Teamwork

Taking turns and backing each other up. Sounds small. At this age it is most of the job.

Ball control

The basics, pitched at what a 7 year old can actually manage rather than what looks good on a drill sheet.

Just have fun

We want your kid to love the game. Everything else comes later.

First time? Perfect.

Most kids who join have never played before. That's exactly who this is for.

We know your kid's name

Small group, so the coaches know every kid by name and know how each one learns.

A good place to start: Autumn Camp

If your kid has never touched a basketball before, a camp is an easier way in than a regular session. Two full days with other kids at the same level and nobody watching to see how good they are.

Starter Camp runs Mon 12, Wed 14 and Thu 15 October over efterårsferie, 09:00 to 14:30 at Hafnia-Hallen. Snacks and fruit included, bring a packed lunch. 1.095 kr if you book before 21 September, 1.295 kr after that. 35 places.

A lot of kids who come to a camp end up in the weekly sessions afterwards. The coaches already know them by then, so turning up on a Tuesday is not the same leap.

Get in touch or sign up

Fill in the form and I'll get back to you with your day, time and gym. The first session is free and there is nothing to pay to come and try.

Once your child has been in the gym and it is a fit, I send you the Holdsport link and get them on the team properly. Already decided? Say so in the form and I'll send it straight away.

Age groups run from 1 October, so the date decides the team.
Got it! We will be in touch shortly.

What's next?

At 9, kids move from Mini into Talata Junior. Same gym, straight after Mini, with proper fundamentals and real decisions in games.

At 12 they move up to Talata Academy, where it turns into competitive basketball with league games and video review. Kids who came up through Mini and Junior already know the coaches, so the jump is not a shock.

Mini → Junior → Academy: when your child is ready to move up, we'll reach out and get them set up on the next team.
