There is no waiting list and nothing to book. If your child wants to try basketball, come to the next session that fits their age and play.
What to bring
- Indoor trainers. Any clean pair with a non-marking sole. No basketball shoes needed.
- A water bottle.
- Normal sports gear. T-shirt and shorts. No club gear, nobody is expected to look the part on day one.
We bring the balls. That is it.
What happens when you arrive
- Come five minutes early and ask for a coach at the door. Say it is a first session and they will take it from there.
- We put your child with someone their own age who already knows the drill. New kids get walked through it, they are never dropped in cold.
- They play. The session runs the same as any other, we do not run a special watered down version for a trial.
- Afterwards, ask the coach how it went. We will tell you what we saw and which group we think fits.
No experience needed, genuinely
A good number of our players had never touched a basketball when they walked in. Several of the kids who started with nothing two years ago are now on teams travelling abroad. Turning up not knowing anything is the normal way to start.

Can I stay and watch?
Yes. Parents are welcome to stay. Our sessions are loud and look chaotic on purpose, kids solving problems with a ball in their hands rather than queuing in lines to copy a demonstration. If that surprises you, that is the coaching method working, and there is more on it in The Talata Way.
Afterwards
If it is a fit, you join properly and we sort the paperwork then. If it is not, no hard feelings and no follow-up sales pitch. Either way the first one is on us.
Bring a friend if it helps. Most of our players came because someone they knew brought them.
